On 23 September, the Mohammed Bin Rashid Leadership Forum will bring together 1,000 key leaders from Dubai's government and private sectors at the Dubai World Trade Centre, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who has launched the date as Government Leaders Day.

More than a conference

This isn't simply another leadership conference. The Forum is built around turning leadership principles into an institutional operating model:

The agenda covers the future of government and institutional leadership, future cities, emerging economic opportunities, and how modern technologies can create more efficient ways of working.

Leadership as institutional capability

Leadership cannot remain dependent on individual leaders — it has to become institutional capability.

That means developing the next generation, distributing responsibility, building stronger decision-making systems, and creating organizations capable of moving quickly as the world changes around them.

The Forum will also recognise the Director General selected for the Mohammed Bin Rashid Leadership Medal, the Government of Dubai's highest leadership accolade, focused on developing and empowering second-tier leadership.

Dubai's next transformation won't be driven by technology alone — it will be driven by leaders who know how to turn technology, people, and strategy into execution.
